Passionate about keeping jobs in the local community owned by individuals Locally at least in the same state for goodness sakes.  Too many jobs and too much commerce is lost from our community when we do not spend dollars local.  On average local communities benefit from 68% of each dollar when a local business is patronized. This figure drops to 14%  when purchases are made outside of the local market.
If a company is based in San Diego, New York for example and outsources overseas for technology or product  produced where does all the revenue end up?  Certainly not in local school systems, certainly does not benefit property or income taxes, the extended unemployment benefits.  Next time you make a purchase ask, are you locally owned?
