Whitpain Crash Sends Two to Hospital

Maple Glen woman, Ambler teen, taken to hospital after Whitpain accident.

The drivers of two vehicles were taken to the hospital after an accident on Friday in Whitpain Township. Patricia Donovan, of Maple Glen, hit the driver's side door of a 17-year-old driver from Ambler at Butler Pike and Meade Road according to a report in the Ambler Gazette. Injuries to the drivers were unknown. Read more about this accident here.

Body Found in Canal Matches Missing Woman's Description

Authorities recovered a body from the canal in Lambertville that matches the description of Sarah Majoras.

A body found Wednesday in the canal in Lambertville matches the description of missing New Hope bartender Sarah Majoras, authorities announced. Anthony P. Kearns said investigators will work with the medical examiner's office to positively identify the body. But Kearns, the Hunterdon County Prosecutor heading the investigation into Majoras' disappearance, said officials will continue to work to discover what happened to her. "There’s nothing to indicate that there’s been foul play," Kearns said during a 6 p.m. press conference, the second of the day. He implored the public to come forward with more information that might help them determine exactly what happened to the well-loved woman, whom friends have described as sassy and strong. …

Police Seek Credit Card Fraud Suspect

The suspect has used cloned credit cards to purchase gift cards at various Walgreens locations in Bucks, Delaware, Philadelphia and Montgomery counties

Towamencin Township Police are working on a joint investigation with the Pennsylvania State Police to identify a man authorities say is responsible for credit card fraud and other theft-related offenses in four Pennsylvania counties. Police said the man used cloned credit cards to purchase gift cards during the second week in January 2013. The man used the cloned cards at Walgreens stores in Flourtown, Drexel Hill and the Feasterville-Trevose area, police said. Police said the suspect also used a cloned credit card with the Philadelphia Parking Authority on M Street in Philadelphia on Jan. 10, 2013. Ambler Police Reports: Gold Wedding Ring Stolen

Police incident reports from Ambler Borough Police.

Theft – On Jan. 2, a resident in the 200 block of Mattison Avenue reported her white Sony Vio 15” screen lap top was stolen from her residence sometime over night on Sunday, December 30, 2012. Serial number and tracking information has been provided to police and investigation is ongoing. Harassment – Melissa Shellhammer, 29 years of age of the 100 block of N. Main Street was cited for harassment on Jan. 4, after police responded to a disturbance. Theft – a resident of the unit block of S. Bethlehem Pike reported on Jan. 7 that sometime over night his gold wedding engagement ring was stolen. Unknown the value of the ring, Investigation ongoing.

UDPD Reports: Brand New iPhone 5 Stolen from LA Fitness

Police incident reports from Upper Dublin Township Police Department.

Theft - On Thursday, Dec. 27, at 8:36 a.m., an officer was dispatched to the Rose Valley Cemetery behind the Upper Dublin Lutheran Church at the 400 block of Susquehanna Rd. in Ambler for a report of a burglary just discovered. The victim told the officer that the garage, the large storage shed and the Rose Valley Cemetery are owned by the Upper Dublin Lutheran Church. The victim said that he is an employee, and the office also spoke with the scoutmaster for a Boy Scout Troop. Ambler Police Reports: Blue Bell Woman Arrested for Retail Theft in Ambler

Police incident reports from Ambler Borough Police Department.

Retail Theft – On Dec. 30 at 7:47 p.m., Samantha Hawkins, 24 years of age of the 800 block of Creekview Dr., Blue Bell, was cited for Retail Theft after police responded to a business in the unit block of W Butler Ave. for a theft complaint.  It was relayed to the police that Hawkins had been involved in a prior theft at location, and was observed shoplifting on this date.  Hawkins was transported to the station where she was cited.  Terroristic Threats –  On Dec. 30 at 3:20 a.m., Jose Tejada, 38 years of age of the 200 block of S. Disorderly Conduct – On Dec. 22 at 12:30 a.m., Michael Dixon, 25 yrs of age of the 300 block of Valley Brook Rd., was cited for Disorderly Conduct after police responded to the residence for a disturbance call.  Dixon was transported to the station where he was lodged until sober.  Theft– A resident of the 200 block of Bannockburn Ave. reported on Dec. 18 that two UPS delivered packages were stolen from his front porch sometime during the day. One package contained an Alpine CD receiver valued at $139., and the other a $40 pair of sneakers.  Disorderly Conduct – Jessica Harrity, 23 yrs of age of  the 200 block of Butler Ave. was issued a citation on Dec. 18 at 4:20 p.m. for Disorderly Conduct after police responded to the 100 block of …

Ambler Police Reports: Christmas Lights Pulled of Bushes

Police incident reports from Ambler Borough Police.

Theft – A resident of the 200 block of Forest Ave. reported on Dec. 16 that within the last two days, a gray and black basketball base and net valued at $150 were stolen. Vandalism - A resident of the 100 block of Tennis Ave. reported on Dec. 15 that Christmas lights had been pulled off of the bushes in the front of her residence, and left laying in the yard. Vandalism – A resident of the unit block of S. Bethlehem Pk. reported on Dec. 12 that vandalism to her vehicle that occurred within the last few days.  All four tires of her vehicle were slashed.

Theft – A resident of the 300 block of E Mt. Pleasant Ave. reported on Dec. 10, that a package delivered by UPS that contained a Nintendo 3DS game, was stolen from his porch.  Vandalism - A resident of the 100 block of  Tennis  Ave. reported on Dec. 7, that the driver’s side mirror of her vehicle was broken off sometime overnight, and the vehicle also had  ice cream smeared on it.   Theft from Vehicle – A resident of the 100 block of Reiffs Mill Rd. reported on Dec. 6, that sometime overnight, her unlocked vehicle was entered and items from her glove box  were strewn about.  Nothing was reported missing. UDPD Reports: Man Tries to Buy Dinner at Wendy's With Fraudulent $100 Bill

Warrant Service - On Wednesday, Dec. 5 at approximately 2 p.m., UDPD was notified that Jon Grob of Fort Washington was  wanted on a County Bench Warrant. At approximately 2:30 p.m., officers served the warrant at the 500 block of Summit Ave. in the Fort Washington section of Upper Dublin Township. At approximately 2:45 p.m., the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office advised that Grob would need to be picked up.
