According to a release issued by Delaware State Police, troopers are seeking the public’s assistance in finding a woman wanted in connection with interfering with the custody of her 5-year-old daughter. On Monday April 2, detectives from Troop 4 in Georgetown, Del., assisted the Division of Family Services (DFS) with an investigation involving Tara Bertrand, 39, in reference to the neglect of her child, 5-year-old Kiera Bertrand. DFS was awarded custody of Kiera Bertrand through Family Court in Sussex County. Tara Bertrand did not appear at the hearing, nor did she bring her child to the hearing as requested.
