Maple Glen woman, Ambler teen, taken to hospital after Whitpain accident.
The drivers of two vehicles were taken to the hospital after an accident on Friday in Whitpain Township. Patricia Donovan, of Maple Glen, hit the driver's side door of a 17-year-old driver from Ambler at Butler Pike and Meade Road according to a report in the Ambler Gazette. Injuries to the drivers were unknown. Read more about this accident here.

ATM skimmers ― illicit devices that blend into a cash machine's card slot, then record bank card info for later retrieval by a thief ― were found on two bank ATMs in Montgomery County earlier this month. PhillyBurbs.com reports that the devices were found on Jan. 5 and 6 on the ATMs of Wells Fargo branches on Skippack Pike in Whitpain and Whitemarsh townships. Authorities believe that the devices were discovered quickly and that no customer accounts were compromised. Other skimmers have recently been found on ATMs in Bucks County and in Medford, NJ. Video footage from nearby building may advance investigation into Sep. 3 robbery
Police have not yet identified any suspects in Monday's home invasion robbery of a West Ambler residence, but Whitpain Police Chief Mark Smith said they are hoping to review video surveillance footage of the suspects as they fled the scene. As many as five men wearing ski masks forced their way into the home on Railroad Avenue early Monday afternoon before tying up the occupants and holding some at gunpoint while the house was robbed. The men fled through a back door when a neighbor knocked at the front door of the house. Family members reportedly held captive during armed robbery.
Four men broke into a Whitpain home and "terrorized" the family inside early Monday afternoon, WPVI-TV reports. The perpetrators wore ski masks and fled through the back door with money and jewelry when a neighbor knocked on the front door, WPVI reported. The @MontcoAlerts account on Twitter, which usually relies upon emergency radio transmissions in its reports, described the subjects as possibly 3-4 black males and indicated the homeowner was held at gunpoint. @MontcoAlerts previously reported that the occupants of the home had been tied up during the incident.
