Dailey Announces Committee Assignments

The freshman representative begins her term serving on four committees.

State Rep. Mary Jo Daley, D-Montgomery, said her two decades of municipal government experience and her private sector work for a university biomedical research service center will be put to good use as she embarks on her 2013-14 legislative session committee assignments. Daley, who spent 20 years on Narberth Borough Council, was appointed to the Local Government Committee, where she will serve as Democratic chairman of its subcommittee on townships. “The Local Government Committee reviews legislation which affects counties, cities, boroughs and townships,” Daley said. “Its scope also includes statewide zoning regulations, municipal pensions and other rules pertaining to local government.
