The heat wave continues today, and it has caused the Upper Dublin School District to call for an early dismissal for Sandy Run Middle School at 12:30 p.m., and all four elementary schools at 1:15 p.m. The high school will remain open, as it is air-conditioned. Weather.com is calling for temperatures to be slightly hotter than yesterday, hitting 90 by noon and peaking as high as 97 around 3 to 4 p.m. Tonight is the first alumni tour of the new Upper Dublin High School. For those who missed the building's grand opening and tours, this is a chance to see the facility on a guided tour. It will take place from 7 to 9 p.m., and is free of charge.
