Ten Union games to be nationally televised
The Philadelphia Union posted its 2013 game schedule to its website. The soccer club will open its season on March 2 at PPL Park in Delaware County at 4pm against Sporting Kansas City. Of the team’s 34 matches, there will be 13 Saturday games. The opening game against Kansas City will be televised locally on 6ABC. Ten of the team’s games will be nationally televised: The local television schedule has not yet been released. "Full season ticket plans for Union matches are on sale now. Partial season ticket plans will go on sale Monday, January 14, and single game tickets will be available beginning January 18 at 10:00 a.m.," according to the Philadelphia Union's website. Zach Pfeffer, Dresher native and Philadelphia Union midfielder, has been loaned to TSG Hoffenheim for a year beginning in January 2013.

Dresher native and Philadelphia Union midfielder, Zach Pfeffer, was loaned to TSG Hoffenheim, according to Comcast Sportsnet. Pfeffer, 17, has played for the Union since 2010 and will be on a one year loan to the "German Bundesliga club, which will last from January to December 2013. Pfeffer is currently "on a two-week training stint" with the German soccer club, marking the "third consecutive offseason Pfeffer has trained with Hoffenheim."
