Man Killed by Train is 20-Year-Old Ardsley Man, Police Say
The incident appears to be an accident, according to police.
Abington Police Deputy Chief John Livingood said today that the man who was struck by a Lansdale-Doylestown regional rail train at the North Hills train station was a 20-year-old man from Ardsley. According to Abington Police, the man entered the track area and tried to cross the fence separating the tracks at the station. When the victim saw the westbound train, he attempted to return to the platform.
