Former Director of the Wissahickon School District, Donald Byron Richwagen, died on Thursday, April 18, according to the obituary on Legacy.com. Richwagen, 86, formerly of Blue Bell, served in the US Marine Corps, during WWII "was a Combat Veteran with the 2nd Marine Division serving in the Pacific Theater." He was president of Antrim Bureau, Inc. in Glenside and Blue Bell, a public and private school teacher, a member of the Elder of Boehms United Church of Christ in Blue Bell, and more. He is survived by his wife Lauranne "Pip" (Supplee) Richwagen, and his children. Services will be held on Friday, April 26 at noon in the Heritage Chapel at the Washington Memorial Park in Plymouth Meeting.

Marcia Sze Chou, 68, of Blue Bell, PA, died Friday, December 28, 2012 after a valiant battle with cancer. Born in Liaoning, China, she was the daughter of the late Wen Chuen and Yuk Tze (nee Wong) Sze. Mrs. Chou was a librarian for over 20 years at the Upper Dublin Public Library. She was a member of the American Library Association, Public Library Association and Pennsylvania Library Association. She is survived by her husband David, her son Matthew and his wife Jennifer, her son Marcus and his wife Candace, and two grandchildren. Patricia S. Saunders (nee Sutter), 84 of Ambler, formally of Maple Glen, died Tuesday at the Keystone Hospice in Wyndmoor, PA. Born in Forty Fort, PA, she was the daughter of the late Morey and Harriet (nee Armbruster) Sutter. She was a Teacher, employed by Wissahickon School District until her retirement in 1993. Mrs. Saunders was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church, and an avid reader and gardener. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Harold L. Saunders and daughter Jane Saunders of Ambler. Louis L. Kriebel, 65, of Ambler, died suddenly Thursday, October 18, 2012 in Abington Memorial Hospital Abington. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Earl and the Mary (nee Vera) Kriebel and was preceded in death by his brother Earl R. Kriebel, Jr. in 1996. Louis was a graduate of the Upper Dublin High School Class of 1966. He was a Laborer, employed by Nicolet Industries for 22 years and then for, Temple University Ambler Campus in the food services division for 6 years prior to retirement in 2010. Louis F. Reimers, Jr., 60 of Ambler PA, died unexpectedly Monday at his sister's home in Quakertown, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Louis F. Sr. and Theresa (nee Trovato) Reimers, Sr. Louis was a graduate of Wissahickon High School class of 1971 and Mansfield University Class of 1975 with a BS in Criminal Justice. He worked as a Social Worker with mentally challenged children. James J. McGee, 80, of Ambler, died Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at home in Lower Gwynedd, PA. Born in New York, NY, he was the son of the late Thomas and Maida (nee Murphy) McGee. He was preceded in death by his son, James D. McGee, in 2009. Jim was a graduate of West Point Military Academy, Class of 1953, with a degree in Military Science. He then served in the US Air Force from 1953 to 1964. After he left the military, Jim worked as an Administrator at Misericordia Hospital and Wills Eye Hospital. At the age of 60 Jim returned to school and graduated from Chestnut Hill College with a Master's in Holistic Spirituality. William J. Smith, "Smitty," of Willow Grove PA, died unexpectedly Saturday at Abington Memorial Hospital. He was 78. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late William J. Wen-Hsiang Chia, 72, of Ambler, PA passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Abington Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness. Wen was born in Xian, China on June 17, 1940 and grew up in Taipei, Taiwan. He emigrated to the United States to continue his education, obtaining a master's degree in chemical engineering from Tennessee Technological University. Wen worked for the majority of his career with Rohm and Haas Co., retiring in 2001. He had a distinguished career, establishing multiple patents for new pesticide formulations, and ultimately earned one of the company's highest recognitions for his contributions. Alfred G. "Fred" Suriano, 88 of Ambler PA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Tuesday November 13, 2012, at the Abington Hospice in Warminster. Born in Fort Washington, PA, he was the son of the late Antonio and Philomena (nee Marciano) Suriano. He was a graduate of Ambler High School Class of 1941 a lifetime resident of Ambler and served in the US Army during World War II. Fred worked on the family farm on Limekiln Pike in Jarrettown and started a salvage yard business, Fred's Used Auto Parts, on the same property. The business was one of the original founders in 1964 of the Pennsylvania Auto and Truck Association (PATSA). He closed the business in 1988 and retired.
