2012 National Dog Show Winners
Dogs were judged in breed competitions during the morning hours, in groups later in the afternoon and for Best in Show.
173 breeds and over 1500 dogs were whittled down to seven group winners and one Best of Breed dog during the National Dog Show presented by Purina, which was taped on Saturday Nov. 17 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks. Best in Show The Best in Show winner was the Wire Fox Terrier Sky. Sky is the same breed at the 2011 Best in Show winner, Eira. Sky's handler, Gabriel Rangel, has handled three of the last four National Dog Show winners. Group Winners The seven groups are Hound, Working, Toy, Sporting, Herding, Terrier and Non-Sporting.
