PSU Abington Forward Named Athlete of the Week
The Horsham resident wins the award … twice
Penn State Abington Basketball Player Mike Marvin, of Horsham, was named the ECAC Division III Player of the Week of the South region, and was recently honored NEAC Student-Athlete of the Week. Marvin guided the Nittany Lions to three conference victories behind averages of 23.3 points and 11 rebounds per game while shooting 67 percent (31- of-46) from the field. The sophomore forward opened the week with a game-high 22 points on 10-of-13 shooting from the floor to go along with seven boards, two assists and a block in a 78-66 win over Lancaster Bible College Jan. 23.
