Ambler Man Involved in Multi Vehicle Accident

An Ambler man was driving a tractor trailer that collided with a Honda Civic, which caused a multi-vehicle accident.

A 51 year old Ambler man, Cornell Tate, was driving a tractor trailer south on 113 in Delaware, when he attempted to move into the left lane and the tractor trailer came in contact with a 2010 Honda Civic. According to Delaware Online, "The Civic was then forced across the median and into the northbound lanes of U.S. 113, where it was hit on the passenger's side by a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe." The driver of the Civic and her passenger were properly restrained and taken to Beebe Hospital before being transferred to Christiana Hospital. The driver of the Chevrolet Tahoe and her passenger were also properly restrained and taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.  Tate was not injured, according to the report.
