Where Do I Vote?

Enter your address to find your polling place.

All Montgomery County polls open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday. County officials said the post-storm power outages that affected many polling places last week were no longer a factor. The last of the polling places affected by power outages, Upper Moreland Middle School, had its power restored shortly after noon on Monday, county spokesperson Frank Custer said. The county's department of public safety has crews with portable generators on standby should they be needed to provide power at a polling place.

MontCo Attorneys Available for Election Day Issues

Prosecutors will be available to voters through the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office.

Because it is a federal election, voters can also call the U.S. Attorney's Office with election complaints at 215-861-8420 or 215-861-8200. Voters with issues concerning ballot access or discrimination can call the federal Department of Justice…

Maybe we do need observers. I just voted in the same place I have voted for 36 years and they required me to show a picture ID. Only when I came home did I read that this is not legal. And how about folks having to wait 7 hours to vote in early voting in Florida. In the civil rights days the president would have rightly sent in federal troops to protect the civil rights of U.S. citizens.   more ›

Nor'easter Could Arrive Tuesday Night

There's nothing "tropical" about this storm system, which could give us our first snowfall of the season.

Just as the Philadelphia suburbs are getting back on their feet following their encounter with Hurricane Sandy last week, another serious coastal storm has the area in its crosshairs. The Mt. Holly/Philadelphia office of the National Weather Service said Saturday that a "coastal nor'easter" storm system will threaten the area later this week. The storm, which could arrive as early as Tuesday night, could feature gale force wind gusts up to 50 miles per hour. Rainfall is expected near the coast, but temperatures could be low enough in our area to produce wintery precipitation. The storm "will have greater impact than usual because of the serious impacts from Coastal Storm Sandy," the weather agency said. The storm is of greatest concern for…
