Rendell and a Harvard Student Visit Upper Dublin this Week

Check out a few events happening this week in the township

The Upper Dublin Public Library will host former Governor Ed Rendell on Wednesday, March 20, where he will discuss his book, “A Nation of Wusses: How America’s Leaders Lost the Guts to Make Us Great.” The event will be held at 7 p.m. in the Upper Dublin Community Rooms in the Township Building, 801 Loch Alsh Ave., Fort Washington. The book chronicles Rendell’s 34-year political career while making a statement on American leadership. Rendell served as Mayor of Philadelphia from 1992-2000; Pennsylvania Governor from 2003-2011; and served as Chairman of the Democratic National Committee during the 2000 presidential election. Rendell will sign your copy of the book; a limited supply of books will be available for purchase. Tickets are $10 for …

Former Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell will discuss his book, 'A Nation of Wusses' at the Upper Dublin Library.

The Upper Dublin Public Library will host former Governor Ed Rendell on March 20, where he will discuss his book, “A Nation of Wusses: How America’s Leaders Lost the Guts to Make Us Great.” The book chronicles Rendell’s 34-year political career while making a statement on American leadership. Rendell served as Mayor of Philadelphia from 1992-2000; Pennsylvania Governor from 2003-2011; and served as Chairman of the Democratic National Committee during the 2000 presidential election. Rendell will sign your copy of the book; a limited supply of books will be available for purchase. Tickets are $10 for friends and members, or students with identification; $15 for non-members. Candidate relocates campaign stop after 150-250 protesters arrive at original venue; Rendell gives press conference at adjacent lot.

Update 6:30 p.m. ABC News reports that Romney greeted about 50 people at the other Wawa, including a Little League baseball team. "We knew yesterday what they were going to pull," an unnamed Romney campaign aide told ABC.
