Former Missing Lansdale Man Heads to County on Drug Charges

Joe Sarni, 38, of Lansdale, was released at district court on $10,000 unsecured bail

A Lansdale man whose family reported missing in July, and who turned himself in to Lansdale Police on drug charges on Oct. 9, heads to arraignment at Montgomery County court in December on drug possession and drug dealing charges following a waiver of a preliminary hearing Tuesday afternoon at Lansdale district court. Joe Sarni, 38, of 533 Walnut St., faces the following charges: Sarni, a recent Lansdale resident and Upper Dublin High School graduate, was reported missing about two weeks before Lansdale Police filed the drug offenses against him. Sarni did not reveal to police were he was for more than three months. Sarni's previous bail was $10,000 cash. It was reduced to $10,000 unsecured, and Sarni was released at Lansdale district …

Missing Lansdale Man Turns Himself In to Police

Joseph Sarni, 38, of Walnut Street, turned himself in Tuesday morning on an outstanding felony drug warrant

A Lansdale man whose family reported missing in July — and who Lansdale Police filed felony drug charges against in July — has turned up and turned himself in to police Tuesday morning. Joseph Sarni, 38, of Walnut Street, appeared at the police station at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, police said. An outstanding felony drug warrant was issued by District Judge Catherine McGill of Oreland on July 18. The warrant charged Sarni with the following narcotics offenses: Police said concern over Sarni's well being by police, family and the community resulted in an extensive search for Sarani after he went missing.
