Catanzaro Supporters Hijack School Board Meeting
A group of players, family and friends address the school board regarding the forced-resignation of long-time girl's basketball coach, Vince Catanzaro.
An emotionally charged group of residents hijacked the Upper Dublin School Board meeting on Monday night, in an effort to convince the board to reinstate long-time girl’s basketball coach, Vince Catanzaro, who was forced to resign two weeks ago. Supporters claim that the forced resignation came as a result of a complaint filed with the school board by a parent who witnessed Catanzaro yelling at a player. "Protect the players..." Really. I was at the meeting and most of the team was there and begged the board to recind its terrible and misguided decision. I didn't see the former UDSB member there who has a family member on the team and is one (perhaps the only) complaintent to the current board defending publically his outrageous and politically correct comments.
