June 16, 1986 was a blistering hot Spring day, but for dozens of local volunteer firefighters, it was only going to get hotter. I remember this fire I had only just turned four years old and mom took me to meet some of the firefighters mostly guys manning the pumps. It was the most incredible thing i've ever seen the pictures to this day are awe inspiring.
