BMW Recalls 3-Series, 1-Series, Z4 and X5s
BMW is recalling its 3-series, 1-Series and Z4 roadster for electrical issues, and the X5 SUVS for brake flaws.
BMW has recalled more than 30,000 of its X5 SUVs in the US, model years 2007 to 2010, according to a report in CBS Philly. The SUVs have been recalled to "fix an oil leak that can knock out the power-assisted braking." According to an article in Reuters, only the vehicles with V8 engines are affected by this recall. This news was released just days before BMW announced a recalled of approximately 750,000 more of its vehicles, 570,000 of them in North America. According to a report in TFLCar.com, this second recall "has been issued due to a faulty battery cable connector that could cause the engine to stall."
