Review - El Limon

El Limon is in the former Sherwin Williams store right next to Jacket's N Things on Butler in the heart of Ambler.  The restaurant has numerous tables in the dining area the the open air kitchen is in the rear.  This structure was in disrepair when Sherwin Williams moved out and it looks like the new owners really fixed up the building.  They didn't do too much in the way of decorating and I expected this from visiting their other restaurant in Conshy.

The menu has a lot of different items to choose from and if you are dining on a budget they have you covered.  Their tacos are $2.50 and I really enjoyed them.  You can upgrade to a taco supreme for .25 and its well worth it.  The grilled chicken in their quesadilla had been marinated and I was impressed with its flavor.

The reason I gave El Limon 4 stars was because the food is very affordable, its byob and most importantly they are open late!   Finally you can stay in Ambler to get late night eats after having a few libations.  Overall the food gets 3 stars.
