"Although Pfeffer isn’t expected to make an on-field impact for the renown club, the experience alone is more influential than the one he would receive playing as a man amongst boys on the Union’s developmental team, Harrisburg City Islanders or Reading United of the United Soccer Leagues."

During his two seasons with the Union, "Pfeffer has played in just four regular season league matches and a handful of international friendlies," according to the press release on the Philadelphia Union's website.
