Upper Dublin Sports: Softball Falls To Upper Merion, 4-3

Fielding issues resurface as the Lady Cards drop their second straight.

The Upper Dublin softball team dropped their second straight game on Monday afternoon, losing to Upper Merion 4-3 as errors once again plagued the team.

Pitcher Kristin Ganderton was one of a few brights spots for the Lady Cards, striking out six while walking one and allowing two earned-runs. She also went 2-3 at the plate with an RBI, and Rachel Matricardi chipped going 1-3 with two runs scored.

The difference in this game was fielding, as Upper Merion committed only one error, while the Upper Dublin squad committed five.

The loss puts the Flying Cards at 3-5 in league play, and 6-7 overall.
