Regional Catholic School Names Principal

Our Lady of Mercy Regional Catholic School names Kathleen Dilts, current principal of St. Anthony-St. Joseph Elementary, as principal of new regional Catholic school.

From Our Lady of Mercy Regional Catholic School:

Msgr. Thomas Owens, Pastor of Saint Alphonsus parish, Msgr. Stephen McHenry, Pastor of Saint Anthony of Padua parish and Father Joseph Rymdeika, Pastor of Saint Catherine of Siena parish have completed their review of the candidates who submitted their applications for the position of Principal of Our Lady of Mercy Regional Catholic Elementary School.  The interviews have been completed as well as the discussions, deliberations, and prayer.   

The Pastors of the three parishes forming Our Lady of Mercy Regional Catholic School are happy to announce that they have named Mrs. Kathleen Dilts as the new Principal and Mr. David Hayden as the Assistant Principal/Director of Development.  They will both serve a three-year term.

Both of these fine Catholic Educators bring a wealth of experience, knowledge, enthusiasm, vitality and love to the task of leading their present school communities and we are certain they will both continue to work together to create an exceptional new Regional School.  Mrs. Dilts is currently the Principal of Saint Anthony-Saint Joseph School and Mr. Hayden is Principal of Saint Alphonsus School.

The pastors would also like to express their thanks to Mrs. Kristen Albone presently Principal of Saint Catherine’s for her interest, support, and professionalism in the interview process. She has been tireless in her support of the new regional school.

Father Joseph Rymdeika has been appointed lead pastor for the 2012-2013 school year.  He will oversee the day-to-day activities of the school and will serve as the conduit between administration and pastors.

We ask that the members of our parish and school communities offer to Mrs. Dilts and Mr. Hayden our support and prayers as they continue the traditions of excellence anew at Our Lady of Mercy Regional Catholic School.
