EASTERN Students Participate in UD Foundation Day

EASTERN Culinary Arts students from Upper Dublin participated in the Upper Dublin Foundation Day at George's Dreshertown Shop 'N Bag.

From Eastern Center for Arts and Technology:

On Wednesday, May 9, Eastern Center for Arts and Technology Culinary Arts/Upper Dublin  High School students Tyana Thompson, Tymere Davis, Katie Hepp, Victoria Black,  and Brandon Wiese volunteered their time at the Upper Dublin Education Foundation Day at George’s Dreshertown Shop ‘N Bag by serving beautifully prepared fruit kabobs and bagging groceries.

The EASTERN Culinary Arts students were accompanied by EASTERN’s Administrative Director, Thomas Allen, and EASTERN’s Student Success Aide, Cori Sansalone.

Shop ‘N Bag donates a large  portions of the days receipts to the Upper Dublin Education Foundation, a non-profit community organization whose exclusive education and charitable purpose is to supper programs for the benefit of the students of the District of Upper Dublin.

“This is a great event that we are proud to be a part of,” said Allen. “The Upper Dublin Education Foundation Day is a fun way to support one of our fantastic participating school districts.”
