UD Planning Commission considering changes to Dresher Overlay zoning area.
A plan that would rezone the 9.54 acre Dresher Commons site to accommodate a residential and office complex is on hold following a November meeting in which Upper Dublin Planning Commission members expressed concerns about how the rezoning could impact traffic planning and future development on nearby land.
Montgomery Media reports that the complex's would-be developer, Horsham-based BET Investments, expressed some frustration over the pace of the planning commission's deliberations.
“We’ve been working on this for 13 years,” BET Director of Development Peter Clelland reportedly said to the planning commission.
