Woman Leaves Site of Early Morning Crash, Police Say

Upper Dublin Police responded to a one vehicle accident  on S. Limekiln Pike on July 1 at 2:02 a.m. The vehicle, a blue Jeep Liberty, was reported as having been crashed into a pole according to the police reports.

The caller who reported the accident told police that there was no one in the vehicle and when the witness looked around the area was unable to find anyone who might have been a passenger from the Jeep.

Police also searched the area and did not find anyone.

On July 3, Wendy Rines called the police station to talk about the accident her vehicle was involved in.

Rines told police that she thinks the accident occurred sometime around 1:30 a.m. and that she was operating the vehicle.

According to the police report, she claimed to be wearing her seatbelt and did not have any substantial injuries, just a small burn from the airbag.
