Two rental cars were recently stripped of their wheels at two separate locations.

According to Upper Dublin Police, someone stole the wheels and tires off of a black 2013 Dodge Charger with Pennsylvania tags parked at the Best Western Hotel parking lot between Aug. 9 at 9 p.m. and Aug. 10 at about 5 a.m.

The vehicle, which is owned by Enterprise Rental-A-Car, was stripped of its wheels and left on soda crates, with the lug nuts on the ground below the axles. The person renting the car said he believed that the car was locked;  nothing else was taken.

Also, someone stripped the wheels off of a black, late-model Hyundai Sonata parked in the Enterprise-Rent-a-Car lot on Bethlehem Pike in Springfield Township sometime last week. According to a clerk, it was the only car that had its wheels stolen.
