Upper Dublin Man Busted on Active Warrant, Police Say
Michael Simms, 21, was taken into custody by Whitpain Police while standing on the corner of Mt. Pleasant and Railroad avenues.
One minute, Michael Simms, 21, of the 200 block of Bannockburn Avenue, Upper Dublin, was standing on the corner of Railroad and Mt. Pleasant avenues in Whitpain Township, and the next, he was nabbed for an active warrant.
Police said Simms was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Ambler Borough.
An officer saw Simms on the corner and recognized him, police said. Simms was taken into custody and released to Ambler Borough Police.
