Two Vehicles Stolen Overnight in Ambler Area

Upper Dublin Police responded to the 400 block of Stuart Lane in the Ambler section of Upper Dublin Township for the report of theft of two vehicles on Thursday, Sept. 19.

The homeowner told police that he has two vehicles stolen from his driveway overnight. According to the police report, the cars that were stolen include a 1996 BMW 3281, which was parked at the lower backend of the driveway; and a tan 2004 Honda Pilot, which was parked at the front end of the driveway.

The homeowner told police that he had parked the Honda Pilot at 10 p.m. on Sept. 18 and both cars were in the driveway. On Sept. 19 at 8:25 a.m., his wife went outside to find both vehicles missing.

The homeowner told police that he believes both vehicles were unlocked and that the BMW might have had a spare set of keys in it, according to the police reports.

Norristown Police Department ran the tags of the Honda Pilot at 12:48 a.m. on Thursday morning.
