A overnight theft at a McDonald's restaurant in South Carolina led to the arrest of an Ambler man early Wednesday morning.
The Charlotte Observer reports that Jason David Clark, 38, was charged with marijuana possession when police found him in a white GMC van in the vicinity of Winthrop University in Rock Hill.
Police had been searching the area after the manager of the McDonald's reported that someone had stolen whipped cream from the restaurant.
Clark reportedly did not match the description of the suspect, but police reportedly smelled marijuana coming from the van. Clark allegedly admitted possessing the drug when police were about to pat him down.
Police did not report whether the missing whipped cream was recovered.
