Oreland Man Charged With Touching Students

An Oreland man, the choral director at William Tennet High School, is charged with multiple sex-related offenses after admitting to flirting and touching some of the students.

Oreland man and director of William Tennet High School’s choral group, Tyrone Dinkins, faces charges in Warminster, Bucks County, for incidents involving eight students during the 2011-12 school year.

Dinkins, 37, is charged with multiple sex-related offenses, including unlawful contact, corruption of minors, indecent assault, and lewd and threatening behavior, according to Philly.com.

Philly.com is reporting that one 16 year old girl told police that Dinkins “touched her buttocks, and two students said that Dinkins “grabbed or touched their breasts.”

Dinkins admitted to flirting with some of the students, “mouthing words of a sexual nature to students, patting students on the buttocks, and, ‘pinching a female student's breast, while at school,’” according to the Philly.com article.
