North Hills Man Arrested After Urinating in Public

An Upper Dublin Police officer patrolling on Summit Avenue approaching Linden Avenue at 12:10 a.m. on July 27, saw a black male wearing a flannel shirt standing in front of a sewer grate, looking down to the ground.

The male, identified as George Smith, of the 300 block of North Hills, appeared to be urinating on the sewer grate, according to the police report. There was an open warrant for Smith for violation for parole, according to police.

Police reports describe Smith as having bloodshot, glassy eyes and slurred speech. He submitted to a portable breath test, which yield a .166 percent BAC.

Smith was held at Montgomery County Correctional Facility to await pickup.
