Golf Cart Joyriders Cause $8K in Damage, Police Say

Someone drove a golf cart onto the grounds of Cedarbrook Country Club in Whitpain Township, police said.

Whitpain Township Police said $5,000 to $8,000 in damage was done to the grounds of the golf course at Cedarbrook Country Club July 27.

At 7:22 a.m., officers responded to the 180 Penllyn Pike club and met with the groundskeeper.

It was reported that unknown persons drove a range cart/golf ball picker onto the course and flipped it over, causing damage, police said.
