Arrest Warrant Issued for Missing Lansdale Man

Lansdale Police have issued an arrest warrant for Joseph Sarni, of Lansdale, who has been missing since early July.

Lansdale Police are investigating the disappearance of , and Upper Dublin High School graduate.

Sarni was entered as a missing person into a nationwide Law Enforcement database  on July 16.

On July 20, an arrest warrant for Sarni has been issued with the following charges:

  • Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance (4 counts)
  • Poessesion With Intent to Use Drug Paraphernalia
  • Possession of a small Amount of Marijuana
  • Receipt in Commerce

According to the Lansdale Police Department in a news release from Friday, “In June 2012, Lansdale Police received information that Sarni was selling cocaine, marijuana and narcotics in Lansdale Borough.  In late June, controlled buys of cocaine and Suboxone were made from Sarni. As a result of those buys; a search warrant was issued for Sarni’s apartment located on the 500 Blk Walnut Street.  Suboxone, a controlled substance which can be addictive, is used for the treatment of people addicted to opiates such as heroin and many types of pain killers. The search warrant was served on June 29th.  Seized at his apartment were drugs and paraphernalia.  All seized drugs including the cocaine and Suboxone were analyzed by an independent laboratory.”

Lansdale Police also stated, “Our primary focus is to continue to investigate Joe’s recent disappearance and ensure his safe return.”
