Burglaries – On Nov. 20, Police are investigating the burglaries of two businesses just discovered. One business is located in the 100 block of E Butler Ave. and the other in 200 block of E Butler Avenue.
Simple Assault – William Jacoby, Jr., 47 years of age of the 200 block of S. Chestnut St. was arrested on Nov. 19, on a warrant for Simple Assault from a domestic that was reported on 11/16. He was live scanned and arraigned before District Justice Patricia Zaffarano.
Theft from Vehicle - A resident of the unit block of Orange Ave. reported on Nov. 19 that his vehicle was entered sometime overnight, and a Garmin Nuvi GPS, and a gray Nano iPod with accessories were stolen. There were no signs of forced entry to the vehicle.
Theft – A resident of the 300 block of Ebony Court reported on Nov. 18, that someone entered his home and a Gateway laptop was stolen from his residence. The computer is valued at $2000. There was no sign of forced entry.
Theft from Vehicle – A resident of the 100 block of S Spring Garden St. reported on Nov. 18, the theft of a Nano iPod from her unlocked vehicle that was parked in her driveway.
Theft from Vehicle – A Warminster resident reported on Nov. 17, that while she was visiting a friend on the 300 block of Forest Ave., a brick was thrown through her rear passenger window and her purse was stolen. The theft occurred sometime between 6:15 p.m. and 12:45 a.m.
Theft – A resident of the 100 block of Rosemary Ave. reported on Nov. 14 that a generator was stolen from outside her residence sometime overnight.
Found Property – On Nov. 14, at 9:45 a.m., an employee of a business on S. Main St. turned in a handbag they discovered next to their dumpster. Found the bag, that had the cash removed from, had been stolen from a vehicle parked in the SEPTA lot that belonged to a Collegeville resident.
