Joanne M. Jester, Member of St. Alphonsus

Joanne M. Jester, of Fort Washington, died Sunday, May 5 at Temple University Hospital. She was 76.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Charles J. and Josephine A. (Schwer) Flynn. She was the widow of John P. Jester Sr.

Jester was a graduate of Gwynedd Mercy College and was a Controller for Jester Associates for over 40 years. Jester was a member of St. Alphonsus Church.

Jester is survived by two sons, John P. of Chalfont and Joseph C. of North Wales; a brother, Charles Flynn; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass was held Friday at St. Alphonsus Church in Maple Glen; interment was in St. John Neumann Cemetery.
