George J. Pistilli, Jr., 72, of Lansdale

George was a member of the L.R.B.-Sons of Italy of Ambler. He loved cruising, going to the casino, off track betting, and spending time with his family.

George J. Pistilli, Jr., 72, of Lansdale, PA died on May 27, 2012 at Grand View Hospital. George was the beloved husband of Shirley M. (Schlectic) Pistilli for 52 years.

He was born in Abington, PA on September 18, 1939 to the late George J. and Mattia (Russo) Pistilli. He was a graduate from Ambler High School class of 57'. George was employed with Craft-Bilt Company as a fork lift operator for 15 years. He also, worked for North Penn Transfer Company for 30 years.

George was a member of the L.R.B.-Sons of Italy of Ambler. He loved cruising, going to the casino, off track betting, and spending time with his family.

Along with his wife Shirley, he is survived by his daughters Cheryl Pistilli-Burns (Michael), Donna Fancher (Terry), Carol Muredda (Joe), 7 grandchildren Jillian, Nicholas, Alex, Makenzie, Kayla, Joey, Sammy, his brother John Pistilli (Judy), and many nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by his sister Madeline Santoro and his brothers Dominic and Anthony L. Pistilli.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Friday, June 1, 2012 10:30 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 259 Forest Avenue, Ambler, PA. The viewing will be from 9:00-10:30 AM at Church.

Interment will be Private.
