"Barely Breathing" by Rebecca Donovan

How can I write a review of a book that captured my heart while stopping it several times and not give any specifics? That is what I will have to do while discussing "Barely Breathing".

(**Please note that while Reason to Breathe was just posted on Patch on Monday, it was posted on Lisa's Reads in March**)

Wow!  How is that for an opening sentence on a book review?

How can I write a review of a book that captured my heart while stopping it several times and not give any specifics?  That my friends will be my challenge while discussing what is the incredible sophomore novel, ”Barely Breathing” written by Rebecca Donovan.

Back in March, I posted about, “Reason to Breathe” Ms. Donovan’s first novel in the Breathing series (and debut novel as a writer).  I explained how the book was captivating and heartbreaking while filled with innocence and love.  ”Reason to Breathe” has stayed on the forefront of my mind for over two months.  I have found myself thinking of the characters and of the storyline and wondering where in the world Ms. Donovan was going to take my beloved Emma, Evan, and Sara to next.  Obviously ”Reason to Breathe” ended in a way that left Ms. Donovan’s readers barely breathing…so what a perfect way to title the second book!

Of course, BoA could also promote better money habits if it stopped gouging people on hidden fees.
