Dear friends,
Thank you for coming out on December 1st to lend a hand to those in need this holiday season! With your help—we had over 250 volunteers altogther—we packaged an amazing 57,248 meals in just four hours. Each hearty and nutritious meal can feed a family of four and they will be distributed to those in need by Philabundance. It was a wonderful experience, seeing so many friends and neighbors come together for such a good cause. Thank you for all your help! We look forward to doing another meal packaging event in 2013!
Our meal packaging event was organized in coordination with Outreach's Kid Care Program, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. We are grateful for their support!
