Resident Captures Photos Of Rare Albino Deer

The albino deer was spotted along the walking trail of Mondauk Common.

This post comes courtesy of Upper Dublin Patch reader Solomon Mermelstein, who captured three photos of the increasingly-rare albino deer.

Mermelstein said that he was walking along the one-mile trail at Mondauk Common, when he observed the albino deer staring back at him. The albino deer was joined by a normal deer shortly after, and the two went on their way.

Editor's note: Reader  says "it's not an albino deer, it's called a pie-bald. An albino would be all white with redish eyes. This deer has normal colored eyes & as you can see, light & dark brown patches."
