Upper Dublin Township’s Environmental Protection Advisory Board (EPAB) will be working in conjunction with the Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association (WVWA) on April 28 to clean trash and debris from Pine Run Creek.
WVWA will spend the days cleaning the Wissahickon Creek and the organization welcomes groups to volunteer to clean the Wissahickon’s tributaries as well.
Everyone is welcome to join EPAB on April 28, beginning at 9 a.m., to help clean the stream. The group is meeting at 1005 Virginia Drive and expects t be working until around 2 p.m.
David Dunn, EPAB Chair, said, “Any help we can get would be appreciated!”
He also recommended that volunteers wear boots and bring work gloves.
All the trash collected during the Clean the Stream event is collected by the Township on Monday.
