Metropolitan Ballet Academy proudly
announces M3 = Math x Movement x Music!   an innovative new summer enrichment program
for  boys and girls ages 7-9.



What do the unique disciplines of math,
movement, and music have in common? Patterns!

This summer Metropolitan Ballet Academy
will offer a course where children discover mathematical patterns through the
patterns of dance and music in a joyous and artistic venue.

Cognitively engaged participants will
actively discover body angles, dancing polygons, spatial arrays, twirling
circles, jumping fractions, symmetric duets and so much more through math,
movement and music!





This innovative course is being
presented by Janet Blenheim, a former professional dancer, Japan Fulbright
Scholar, and currently K-5 Math Department Head at the School District of Upper
Dublin. Ms. Blenheim is passionate about the beauty of mathematics and the
rigor of dance.

No dance experience necessary. Classes
meet Monday – Friday, 9:00am-11:30am. Tuition
