Community Corner

Helping Hands Project at Montgomery Mall

WHAT:
In partnership with The Giving Tree, a non-profit organization dedicated to the charitable education of children, Montgomery Mall is inviting community members to come together and join the Helping Hands Project on Saturday, March 15. Roll up your sleeves, sort clothes and fill bags for those who need it most during this day of service.

Projects will include creating personal care bags, peace and smile boxes®, after school snack bags, operation recognition cards, and volunteer sweet bags. Attendees are asked to bring clothing donations for the adult and children’s clothing collection drive, benefitting Impact Thrift Stores.

As the number of projects increases, The Giving Tree asks families to continue volunteering and to consider a $5 donation per child.
