Coffee & Conversation sponsered by Upper Dublin Lutheran Church

This summer we kicked off a new God on Tap series called “Coffee and Conversation” (more here)  at Danielle’s Espresso Cafe in Maple Glen and we had a great response.

Around 8-10 people gathered each time and the conversations covered a

whole range of things in life and faith. A few things stood out for me:

  • we had new and different people each time, so the conversation was always different
  • most of the people haven’t attended our pub nights at Forest and

Main, so we reached a whole different group of people with the same idea

of connecting in conversation and getting beyond the church building
  • people from my church that came met people that went to different services (we have 3 on Sunday morning) for the first time

People are already asking when we are going to do it again.

The answer to that is next week on Wednesday September 18th, 9:30-11:30am at Danielle’s.

Note that the schedule is a little different this fall. We are going to gather on certain Wednesdays from 9:30-11:30am. (I lead preschool chapel on Tuesdays.)
