Why Go:
As the Fort Washington branch YMCA closes, its staff wants to thank loyal members for their patronage.

Upper Dublin Township Building, 801 Loch Alsh Ave., Fort Washington; Oct. 1, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Why Go:
Shop for treasures, like clothing, jewelry, furniture, electronics, toys, games and more. In the event of rain, event will move indoors.

Free admission for shoppers

Where/When:
MaGerk’s Pub, 582 S. Bethlehem Pike, Fort Washington; Oct. 1, 6 p.m.
Why Go:
This fundraiser benefits White Flicker Wild Bird Rehabilitation Clinic. Drink specials from 6 to 8 p.m., silent auction, raffle and valet parking.
Pricing:
$25 for the first person in your group, $20 for each additional member

Where/When:
The Stoogeum, 904 Sheble Lane, Ambler; Oct. 1, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Why Go:
The word’s only museum of Three Stooges memorabilia, doesn’t have regular operating hours but has an open house about once a month, to give you a chance to see the museum’s almost 100,000 pieces.
Pricing:
Free admission, but donations are appreciated
