Three Peanut Butter Recalls: Snack Bars, MoonPies, Protein Boxes

Starbucks Protein Bistro Boxes, Peanut Butter Cascadian Farm Granola Bars, and Peanut Butter Crunch MoonPies have all been recalled.

Starbucks Protein Bistro Boxes

Flying Food Group is recalling Starbucks brand Protein Bistro Box which contains a .5 oz. single serve Honey Peanut Butter squeeze pack in connection with the Sunland, Inc. peanut butter recall.

Sunland, Inc. is recalling peanut butters are being recalled for potential Salmonella contamination.

The bistro boxes were distributed exclusively to Starbucks stores in Pennsylvania, as well as Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia, Georgia, Florida, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Indiana, Texas, Arizona, Nevada, and California between August 8, 2012 and October 4, 2012.

Snack Bars Containing Peanuts

General Mills is recalling Cascadian Farm Granola Bars that contain peanuts in connection with the Sunland, Inc. peanut butter recall. The peanut pieces in the granola bars may have been sourced from Sunland, Inc., a peanut supplier that has recalled their peanut ingredients for potential Salmonella contamination.

No illnesses have been reported in connection with this recall.

Peanut Butter Crunch MoonPies

Chattanooga Bakery, Inc. has announced a recall of its MoonPie Crunch Peanut Butter products in connection with the Sunland, Inc. peanut butter recall.

Consumers who have purchased this product are urged not to eat it and to wither dispose of the product or return it to the retailer for a full refund.
