Sharper Image is recalling USB wall chargers manufactured by Atomi, for fire hazards. The chargers can overheat and smoke, which can pose a fire and burn hazards to consumers.
Atomi has received 13 reports of overheating, smoking, and acrid smells from chargers, and no injuries have been reported.
The chargers were sold at Burlington Coat Factory, Tuesday Morning, TJ Maxx, and various websites from October 2011 through September 2012.
Consumers should stop using the product immediately and contact Atomi for instructions on returning the chargers for a full refund. Consumers with questions can contact Atomi at 800-790-1440 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
