RECALL: Ready-to-Eat Popcorn

Dale and Thomas is recalling ready-to-eat popcorn for a possible Listeria contamination.

Dale & Thomas Popcorn is voluntarily recalling select flavors of ready-to-eat popcorn for a possible contamination by Listeria monocytogenes. According to the Food and Drug Administration, Listeria monocytogenes, "can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems."

Products in this recall should not be consumed and may be returned to the point of purchase for a full refund or replacement.

"The recalled products were distributed to various retailers, vendors, distribution centers, and consumers through the Internet on or after August 8th, 2012 with Best By dates of February 4th, 2013 through March 12th, 2013."
