RECALL: Over 46,000 Bugaboo Strollers for Fall Hazard

Bugaboo strollers are being recalled for a potential fall hazard to young children.

Bugaboo is recalling more than 46,300 strollers in the US for a potential fall and choking hazard.

The recall includes the Bugaboo Cameleon and Bugaboo Donkey model strollers.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission recall notice, "a button on the stroller's carrycot/ seat carry handle can become disengaged and cause the handle to detach, posing a fall or choking hazard to young children."

There have been 58 reports of the carry handles detaching and no injuries have been reported.

The strollers were sold a Buy Buy Baby, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Toys R Us and other baby product stores nationwide and online at Bugaboo.com and other online retailers. Bugaboo Cameleon was sold between Septemeber 2009 and June 2012 and Bugaboo Donkey was sold between January 2011 and December 2012.

Consumers should immediately remove the carry handle from the strollers and contact Bugaboo for a free replacement. The strollers can continue to be used while waiting for the replacement carry handle. Consumers can contact Bugaboo at 800-460-2922 between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Friday or online at www.bugaboo.com.
