RECALL: Cordless Drills for Fire and Burn Hazards

Harbor Freight is recalling cordless drills for fire and burn hazard.

Harbor Freight Tools is recalling cordless drills sold at Harbor Freight Tools stores nationwide for fire and burn hazards.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission recall, the black trigger switch on the 19.2 volt cordless drill can overheat and pose a fire and burn hazard to consumers. There has been one report of the drill overheating and burning through the handle of the unit.

The drills were sold between April 2008 and May 2012. Consumers should stop using the drills immediately and remove the  rechargeable battery and contact  Harbor Freight Tools to receive a free replacement.
