Sunland, Inc. and Justin's have expanded their recalls; PureFit Peanut Butter Crunch Bars, Crunch thinkThin nutrition bars, and Oregon Ice Cream have recalled products.

Sunland, Inc. Expands Recall to Raw and Roasted Peanuts

Sunland, Inc. announced that it is extending its ongoing recall to include raw and roasted, shelled and in-shell peanuts that were processed at its Peanut Processing Plant because the products may be contaminated with Salmonella. The raw and roasted peanuts were available to customers through supermarkets, grocery stores, and retail chains.

Consumers who have purchased any of the recalled products are being urged not to eat them and return them to the place of purchase for a refund, or to dispose of them.

 PureFit, Inc., is recalling its PureFit Peanut Butter Crunch Bars in connection with the Sunland, Inc. peanut butter recall. Sunland, Inc. has recalled their peanut butter and roasted and raw peanuts for possible Salmonella contamination.

PureFit Peanut Butter Crunch bars were distributed throughout the US between March and August of 2012 at health food stores, grocery stores, as well as online retailers.

Creative Energy Foods Recalls Crunch thinkThin Nutrition Bars

Creative Energy Foods has announced the recall of Crunch thinkThin nutrition bars that contain blanched roasted peanuts supplied by Sunland, Inc. The peanut products have been recalled by Sunland, Inc. for possible Salmonella contamination.

Consumers with these products should dispose of them. The nutrition bars were distributed nationwide to retail chain stores between March 2010 and October 2012.

Justin's Expands Peanut Butter Recall

Due to the extended and ongoing Sunland, Inc. peanut recall, Justin's has announced an expanded recall of certain peanut butter products. Justin's was notified that Sunland peanuts "were and may have been used in the production of certain peanut butter products in the past," according to the Food and Drug Administration recall.

Products were available in Pennsylvania and sold at supermarkets.

Oregon Ice Cream Expands Peanut Butter Ice Cream Recall

Additional lot codes are now included in the Oregon Ice Cream recall due to the peanut ingredient for the ice creams being sourced from Sunland, Inc. Sunland, Inc. has recalled their peanut butter and raw and roasted peanuts due to possible salmonella contamination.

The ice cream products were distributed nationwide.
